Pellet Waggler rod help

Hi there, I'm new to the forums and I just need some help on finding the perfect pellet waggler rod. As I go on holidays in my caravan, we tend to find caravan sites with fishing ponds on site or near to the site. So I want an all round pellet waggler rod that will do the job on every commercial I go to, whether that's catching little perch/roach to the big carp and tench. I'm a little new to pellet waggling scene or I wouldn't be asking you guys for help on which rod would be best for me!
I would look to be spending around 50-80 pounds on the one. I've tried looking on ebay but I don't know what's good and what's bad you see, if you guys could help me i'd be very greatful.
p.s if this is the wrong section I should be posting this in i'm sorry, as i said i'm new to the forums i.e don't bight my head off
thanks in advance, HalfwayAngler.

Re: Pellet Waggler rod help

Hi and welcome to the forum. I had a Mach 3 and it snapped when I had a 6(ish) pound carp on and the feeder version I had also snapped when I cast out a loaded groundbait feeder - so be careful of these rods. The Drennan Series 7 range are great (70 - 90quid), especially paired up with the matching reels (30 - 35 quid) and by the looks of it, the new Drennan Red range (50 quid)are good too, and cheaper. Even cheaper are the Leeda Carp Match range (35 - 40 quid) - and will handle all fish, large and small and light float or heavy waggler work.

Re: Pellet Waggler rod help

Every Drennan rod that I have owned has been a good rod.

Drennan rods that I currently own are the 12ft Drennan Specialist (not a float rod) and the 13ft Drennan MKIV Tench float rod which are both fine rods and I have also heard good things about the Drennan Series 7 range.

So I don't think you can go very wrong if your going to choose a Drennan rod.

That isn't saying that there aren't other good rods because Diawa, Fox, Harrisons, Greys and a few others all do great rods if you know what you are looking for.
