Fishing with Lures

Hi guys!

Just joined, said hi in the new member area.

I have never fished in the UK, but am now wanting to start. I am currently based up north, in North Yorkshire, and want to start fishing around the area, but with lures.

I have no experience about UK fishing and fish, so any recommendations would be appreciated. I was thinking pike?

Bought my baitcaster and rod with me from my last visit back home. Caught some awesome fish there, both salt and freshwater.

My outsider observations say pike are your best bet. Topwaters like Zara Spooks and other dogwalkers are always a good option, as are swimbaits...
