| Never before fished in lake.... Hey guys, Where my grandad lives in France his friend owns a lake near my grandads garden and he said we can fish it whenever we want because he isn't interested in it... I have caught lots of big perch from it and my grandad and I have caught the odd carp and tench too... (the carp are huge! 20lb plus!!!) We see the carp cruising at the surface in summer and we feed them bread and they go mental for it... We have fished using floating crust and had some success but I would like to fish on the bottom too... (when the surface fishing is frustrating me!) I was wondering what sorts of methods and baits to use bearing in mind it has never been properly fished... Any tips would be great thanks guys!! :) ![]() |
