Re: Where to fish

Hi Gavin. Good to hear your gettin into fishing. I'm not from your area but I am sure if you just put something like 'Fishing lakes in Gloucester' into google/internet you will find loads of places to go. Thats what I have done before and found some spot on lakes near me that I never knew where there. Don't worry about closed season on them either, hardly any stillwaters/commercials close in 'close season' nowadays. Only rivers and some reservoirs - so you can spend the next 3 months fishing your heart out and probably have some proper good days if you find the right place.

Re: Where to fish

Hiya Gavin - seems as you aint had any responses, I have had a look at some places near Gloucester for you to try.

Lemington Lakes
Todenham Rd
Moreton in Marsh

01608 650872
Mixed Course & Carp
£8.00 per day
5 lakes
25 miles from Gloucester

Dene Rise Fishery
Chicknells Lane
Blakeney
GL154AQ
01594 510322
Mixed Course & Carp
£6.00 per day
4 lakes
15 miles from Gloucester

Or have a look on the South Cerney Angling Club website. They have 6 lakes with a couple of them allowing day tickets. All are near South Cerney, Cirencester which is approx 25 miles from Gloucester.

If you don't mind a little drive then these all look promising venues. They all have websites so check them out.
Hope this helps.
