Polarised sunglasses help needed

hi ya all thanks for reading this and maybe someone can give me some advice

i am looking to buy a pair of polarised sunglasses but been told they come in brown,grey and amber colour lens does anyone know what these lens are for i only fish on the canal and any advice would be great

Hi Halo ,
Amber are best for low light conditions such as dusk & cloudy days . Brown best for all round medium to bright days , Grey for very bright conditions .
Personaly I prefer Amber or yellow lenses as I usually fish late into the day and with a peaked hat find them sufficient on a bright sunny afternoon . Also as they let in a bit more light I think that the underwater vision is better & seem to make the orange of a float tip really stand out.
It's definatly worth trying a few pairs on before you buy if that's possible .
