| Catch and release or take home and eat I think this a good topic for discussion for salt and fresh water. seeing about the carp in tesco post made me wonder what people think about the idea of taking home or release (not poaching!)     |

| Re: Catch and release or take home and eat Fresh always go back, sea i`ll keep enough for tea then the rest go back, however this only counts for certain species. Bass under 1lb and over 10lb will always be returned, smutts will go back, in fact anyfish that i deem to big for my own plate will go back. __________________ Sea 2012- 5brd rockling, whiting, LS Dogfish,Bass,Eel,Flounder F/W 2012- Catfish(16.5lb), Carp,Tench LITTER IS JUST LAZINESS!! |

| Re: Catch and release or take home and eat I guess there is no opposition out there for this one sided debate I think that as long as the rules are followed that it's a persons prerogative to do what is right in the situation they are in we don't judge trawlermen for bringing in cod for are dinner plate |
