Shimano Nexcxar 115 Pole

My dear wife has bought me a brand new Shimano Nexcxar 12 foot pole for xmas. I've been wanting to start pole fishing for some time, is this a good starter pole? I don't want to offend her but I can change it for something different if required.

Hi Wolfy, its a good pole to start with, but once you start you will will want longer poles, and its a great way to fish hope you like it mate, tight lines Boo.
