Hey there good people of the tinter-web!

I've been fishing on and off since I was 6 or so, but in the last 3 years have gotten into it properly. I fly fish when I get the opportunity and when I lived in Wiltshire I did a season on the Avon which was ace! I dabble in a bit of very ametureish Piking and my main sort of fishing is Specimen Carp fishing.

However, as the lakes have been frozen I thought I'd have a go at a bit of trotting on my local river the Eye in Melton. I caught my first ever Chubb today, only a little 2 pounder, but i really enjoyed it. So I'd like to know if there's anyone on here from the area who knows of any good clubs/stretches in the area as I'm a little limited to the small free stretches in town at the minute! I've also heard that there are Barbel in the local river, and would dearly love to add one of them to my catch list! Please let me know if any of you on here have any info!
