Pennington Flash & River Glaze in leigh

I'm new to pike fishing this year ! ive had a few numbers out of the canal in leigh upto 7lb and me and my friend have had some large ones out in the canals in the center of manchester, he had one out at 17lb !

But the question im asking is, ive been told by other fisherman in my area that pennington flash holds some decent size pike, but when looking on the internet i cant really find any comments on it?

Also the same for the river glaze, ive had some nice chub in the early summer but cant really see much room for pike fishing in there, at the greyhound stretch, but once again people say pike loom in there, anyone have any ideas? Cheers for any comments!
