pellets?

how would i soften pellets for an open ended feeder? the ones i have are quite small maybe 2mm or so will they still be affective? and is it ok to prep night before and leave in the fridge overnight? i try and save as much time as i can at the lake.

going to try feeder fishing tommorrow for the first time and allthough people gave me some grate ideas a few threads down i havent figured out what i can get away with as groundbait banned so dont want to use that untill i have spoken to the bailliff tommorrow

just scald them in boiling water

I just chuck a cup full of water in the tub while im setting up, If you leave em to soak too long they turn to mush.
