| Corn from the cob Can anyone shed any light on prepping corn from the cob? At work we have been doing some trials on new varieties, which are very sweet, not the kind of strains which are in cans, and I wuld like to try some for bait, so would I just strip the kernals and use? | Re: Corn from the cob The field stuff is going to be a bit differnt, mainly grown as animal feed and cover crop for pheasants. If you able to pop by the nursery, I can give you a couple of cobs if you wish. The seeds are pretty dear to source, way to expensive for anything other than the (excuse snobbishness), expensive farm shop sales/upmarket greengrocers. __________________ Ignore the margins at your peril |
