Where to fish for beginners in manchester?

Hi

I am new here.

So,

Where can me and my mates go fishing, where we can hire the equipment and catch some small fish? Or where can we go in and around manchester with just a rod license? And what sort of rod do you guys suggest purchasing for such a fancy?

Pazmush

What fish are you after?

As for rods, I've been VERY impressed with the quality & VFM of the TF Gear rods & reels.

Re: Where to fish for beginners in manchester?

I don't know really, we went to a lake the other week and I guess it was a carp lake so we didn't catch anything. I want to catch small fish, I think maybe river fishing would be best??

Are those rods cheap?

Your local canal mate would be a good start ;-)
