How far would you go ?

I remember when I first started fishing. It started with a finger line and a worm, it then progressed to a 3m whip with maggots,
Id never even heard of boilies or pellets and the concept of a hair rig baffled me. Now I use them all the time.
I keep finding myself looking at things and thinking "Ill never use that" but as my angling progresses these things become common,
recently I have started seeing many weird things such as glow in the dark baits, carp attracting fizzy tablet things, alarms that trigger a light in your bivvy when you get a bite ! even in- bivvy entertainment !! How far will this go lol or will it just become common practice .
Ive always said I will never use a bait boat because they are a lazy anglers tool but every-time I see them I think that looks handy !
Dont get me wrong I have a bivvi and and bite alarms etc, I just think fishing is getting complicated lol.
This is probably just a rant but it would be interesting to see what people think

Re: How far would you go ?

saw a piccy on another site of a bivvy equiped with a satelite dish and thought now thats just way to much, it would be easier to fish in the garden pond if you need all the comforts of home
