The Bait Is Marinating Saturday will see some corn & luncheon meat action at Brimsham Park. I have a killer plan. The luncheon meat is currently marinating in extra hot Encona Chilli sauce to make it extra attractive. Lets see if that gets 'em goin' my babber.

Re: The Bait Is Marinating Whenever I use luncheon meat I always use the Frenzied Spicy flavour and have always found that it makes a very noticeable difference. One day I was fishing my local lake for Tench and Carp and plain, garlic and spicy luncheon meat with me. Plain produced the occasional bite, garlic seemed to just attract Bream but spicy was an instant hit and produced not only stronger more definite bites but almost all from Carp and Tench. I reckon you could be onto a winner with the extra hot sauce. Good Luck! __________________ I've now added a fishing blog to my website Here

Re: The Bait Is Marinating I have also noticed this, Nice-n-Spicey flavoured meat has caught me a lot more Barbel, Chub and Carp than either curry, garlic or plain meat ever has, although chilli is my second choice. Nowerdays I always take some with me when I'm using meat. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now)
