Re: Aldi Gear

I have only ever bought some cheap polarised shades from aldi so I cant really say for sure. But as the old cliche says you get what you pay for.
Saying that on first look the luggage doesnt look that bad, as for the bait Im sure this would probably work aswell.
It all depends what your budget is, if you can afford to get better then I would because chances are it will last longer.

Re: Aldi Gear

i bought one of their headlights , a tackle bag , (which is the same as my chub one) and some of their waders , the first 2 items are very very good for what you pay , the waders do their job ,

The rod bag is well made too ,,

Most of their tackle is made by companies that actually produce for other tackle manufactures

Edit
the boilies are good for feeding the coots and ducks off

Re: Aldi Gear

The Tacklebag has had some good writeups on some other angling sites.
The reviewers say that it compares well to ones at much higher prices.

Time will tell if the tacklebags are any better than other less expensive ones, but at that price I think they may be worth a try. If they have any left I might buy one.

The tacklebag looks like it is a perfect size for roving when you need to travel light.

Re: Aldi Gear

Time will tell, but for a combined cost of under £20 for a rod bag & tackle bag I'm very impressed.

Re: Aldi Gear

My mate bought the waders, which were ok for the first couple of outings. Third time the joint at the top of the boot started to come away and he ended up with water over his thighs up one leg and down the other. I call him Squelch now. It may have been a rogue pair, but as someone else said, you get what you pay for.
