| Float fishing a fast flowing river When fishing the Trent for specimen carp and barbel things can get very slow in the day time so I have started to bring my old float rod with me to have a crack at the silvers. The problem is nearly all of my float fishing experiences have been on still waters such as canals and small ponds/lakes. I just wanted to know what is a good stationary waggler set-up for a medium to fast flowing water. Ive tried trotting but I have limited movement due to dodgy banks. Could do with help with float types, methods, depths ect, Many thanks in advance Mad ![]() __________________ Species 2011..
