Camping and fishing

My friends and I would like to get a break from work and go on a short trip somewhere in the UK.
We are looking for a decent place that allows camping, is good for beginers and offers a good chance of catching a variety of species.

Half of us live in London and the other half live in Glasgow so I'm thinking somewhere in Northern England to make the driving 50/50 for us all.

Re: Camping and fishing

Nick R has got a point. By the time you London lot get outside the M25, the Glasgow lot could be waiting in Betws Y Coed with a pint. And think of all the amusement you can have asking for directions to places no one else can pronounce either. The scenery will blow you away , though I've no doubt our Scottish brothers will be calling the Welsh mountains "Hillocks". Nah! North Wales it is I reckon, even if it is the "wrong" end ;)

Re: Camping and fishing

Camping is one of the most enjoyed outdoor activities, make sure you stay comfortable by using Tunnel Tents to spend quality time and don't forget to pack your Fishing Chairs for even better relaxing outdoor activities and experiences.

and don't forget the beer. If it's river fishing you are after there are plenty of campsites near the severn.
