Re: is this right please Hi pikey, depends on how you want to rig up, what size float, how deep and if you have a heavy float i wouldnt use the rubber and use the small shot as lock shot and the rest below to make up the weight. a nice slow drop with dustys will work most times. cant make out the pic mate sorry. i would put the rubber if need be just below the float tip. wayne

Re: is this right please I am intigued; why would anyone want to use a rubber band with a crystal insert waggler??? I don't understand why anyone would want to attatch a rubber band to a crystal insert waggler; maybe you wanted to fish it top and bottom like a river float because you didn't have any top and bottom river floats and you didn't have any float rubbers???. Please tell me, I am intrigued. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now)

Re: is this right please I'm with boldbear on this one, why use a rubber like this ? All I can think is that you want to be able to change floats quickly. I used to attach mine bottom only using them this way but found the float did not hang right. Since then I use float adapters.Mine are just silicon with a swivel rammed in. Let usa know what you are using them for and what it is you want to achieve and we'll help if we can. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk

Re: is this right please I think he used that style of float as a example and just wanted to know where to place his top rubber on his float the float rubbers pikey are just a means of locking the float to the line , the top one i place about 5 mm down depending on type of float
