I have aquired a Triple check reel which is stamped TJH & Son pat applied for. does any one know anything about these reels?

i think TJH may well be hardy & son of alnwick,

Thanks for that I thought so too but when I have tried to find more information on the net I have drawn a blank - any ideas of where I can find out more info

there is a guy i think his name is chris sandford,he has had articles in the angling press,
he specialises in vintage tackle,he might be worth a call

I'm also pretty sure the stamp is Hardy & Son of Alnwick, but its definately worth trying to speak to an expert on vintage equipment especially reels.
