| Fishing Rod license for non-UK Hey Lads, Some of you might have seen my other posts, but I'll summarise quickly. I'm over here from Aus for a while and will be doing lots of fishing. I wanted to get everything ready ahead of time, but getting a Rod license for the UK has been a hassle. I couldn't get it online as it required a UK postal address, so I waited until I arrived today to find a Post office and get one in person. Yet, I still needed a UK address... This system seems a bit flawed for those of us wanting to come over to fish UK waters! I gave the Post guys an address where I am staying for a few days and I have my full receipt showing what license I have and all required details. Will this be ok to present if my 'Rod License' is requested? Has anyone here had friends visit from overseas and have similar issues getting a license or are all non-UK fishermen exempt from having to hold a license? ;) |
