 Rivers and canals open for business. So, I believe the season officially opens today on rivers and canals. Anybody got any plans to go dip their lines today? I'm not going to be going out today but I plan to friday and saturday. Friday I'm basically going to scope out where I am going on Saturday chuck some feed in and wet a line for a couple of hours. The water is ridiculously clear at the moment which will prove for some tricky fishing. I'm still not sure if I'm going to float or leger with a hair rig, maybe try out both on friday to see. I'm just excited about going somewhere with a bit of a flow to it, even if it is quite a slow flow. | Re: Rivers and canals open for business. I will be fishing my local stream on Friday but I'm not going to start until around 5pm. The water is very clear but it shouldn't be too much of a problem as I'll be fishing when the sun is low and into the dark until around 11pm.
