Floats for Rope?

The Club i am in are looking to rope off a bridge and we need to put visable aids on the rope but i dont want to use Plastic Bottles! Does anyt one know where i can get or have any ideas for floats on a rope.

Just thought ...couldn't you use some half inflated balloons ? colours are endless and cheap as chips and very light to transport !

You could try blue pipe lagging cut into sections and tie wrapped on, cheap n cheerful
