| Re: Angaling Clubs Have been a member of four clubs. Glamorgan Anglers, Birmigham Anglers, Bathampton and Bristol and Bath (though I think it's amalgamated now). All were excellent value for money and you meet like minded individuals. £30 a year for BAA and hundreds if not thousands of swims on loads of river stretchs , some lakes and canals too even if it's not commerical stocking levels , still great value for money. If I still lived in Cardiff then Glamorgan offer excellent fisheries too. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |

| Re: Angling Clubs Quote:
I belong to two clubs, one club which gives me well over 20 different waters to fish, some of which hold near record nudging fish, for less than £70 per year, plus regular social events, fishins, matches and specialist instruction sessions on catching different species & using different methods. all in a secure friendly environment. The other club I belong to costs around £50 per season to fish but only has the one lake, however it is a really beautiful secluded estate lake with quality Tench, Rudd, Roach, Crucians, Carp and a sprinkling of large Catfish. where I can fish in complete peace & quiet because of its location and small invited membership. NB. I can't remember the last time I had to fish a day ticket water other than when I was on holiday. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now) |
