| You Tell 'em Steve This should let members know, that there is a work party at Crockerton, in addition to what is in the rule book. No doubt there is going to be someoen who don't bother to read theirs, and complain that their fishing is spolit by those doing the work to improve their fishery.  __________________ Ignore the margins at your peril     |

| Re: You Tell 'em Steve Ahh work parties. Takes me back. I remember me and Paul at St Y Nyll badgering away through the year. Doing a bit here and there. Some bloke I may have seen a couple of times sat on his box and complained that the committee nor the fisheries officers did anything to improve the lake. When I suggested he drag the weed out when he fished he must have thought he'd upset us as he could see us beavering away "Oh I didn't mean no one does anything, just never see any of the committee or the fisheries officers." "Odd ", says I , " I am on the committee, Paul there is one of the fishery officers." "Yes but where's the others", "You're looking at him". Such a great deal of satisfaction was had by me. To his credit we continued to chat and he realised that we didn't all walk round with a sports jacket or a badge saying "Committee". Nice bloke really, maybe just having a bad day . Work parties add greatly to a fishery and anyone complaining needs to either get off their lazy backside or find somewhere else to fish OR stop complaining. I was congratulating Steve for making it very obvious, but the loudest noisemakers, who complain about trees that need trimming, never show up.........
