grrr I did manage to beat hubby today but came no where near the top positions i lost 2 huge carp after playing them for about 5 mins apiece and then pulled out i reckon they were in double figures grr i could hit myself with wet whotchamacall it......dont you just hate it when you think its in the bag and twang...my stomach just dropped........................

chopped worm chopped caster chopped red maggot (almost liquidised) and i hooked intermittedly worm... caster or red maggot i must say the fish were there cause i pulled out of a lot i think i was a bit heavy 10 elastic 18 hook on hindsight i should have lightened up but if i got into a big one lighter i would never have got it up let alone out there are carp in there to 38 lb
