Lonsdale Park 26th of june cant wait

10 of the members on my club water r going to Lonsdale park for a week so looking forward to it. i have seen many reveiws on lonsdale and only seen one bad review and theres always one cant wait. goals for londale is to catch a 20lber carp and 5lb tench and maybe a 2 or 3lb roach

if thats the place near carlisle its a cracker of a fishery

yeah mate thats the one, never been mate so looking forward to it. was u fishing for carp and have u got any advise for the carp

yes mate biggest was 22lb common. The good thing about the lakes is that there are no day tickets. Keep it simple there with rigs and baits. We had fourteen doubles when me and my mate fished it last august. Small bags cast to showing fish worked well small baits like corn or cut down 12mm boilies worked well have a great time. THere is a tackle shop and restaurant there all you could ever want. I am kinda envious!

there are some lumps over thirty there. Are you stopping in the static caravans or the lodges? The best swims are with the lodges and they are reserved for people staying in the lodges mind you the arches are good thats where we had four or five upper doubles from

Having fished Lonsdale a lot when day tickets were allowed, I wouldn't put too much hope into catching monster fish. IMHO the place is over rated and the weights of the fish living in the waters are slightly exaggerated.

Each to their own of course but I would list it bottom of my list of places to fish.

lol its worth ago in it if nothing else it will be laugh with 10 lads trying to catch the odd carp
