News of night catches are usually discussed at the cafe first thing over bacon butties.When we go it is fairly booked up but with only 16 holiday homes on site at the most if all guests fish, you are looking at about 40 fisherman over 5 lakes.There is always loads of free pegs plus you have your own private pegs. If you are in the big lodge you get 2 pegs one is big enough for a bivvy and 2 anglers.Hope you have a go at the weekly match, its real good fun,fish any peg you like for 4 hours,everyone gets a prise (tackle bits) and a meal and beer. £10-£12 to enter includes evening meal at cafe, beer and prise giving.
I am not a match person but came 2nd one year and was well chuffed beat some serious match men.Sorry to enthuse so much I just love the place.

it was a good week the fishing was hard the biggest i had was 15 12 which was the biggest to the last day so i was going to win the trophy for biggest fish of the week but on the last day me dad had a 21 2 oz never mind
