| Re: Very Novice Fisher Need a bit more info on what type rods, float, quiver, carp etc... there are so many types of rods out there and you need to balance the rod, reel and line to allow you to catch and land the fish When you get the tackle let us know the make and type of rods as well as the reels Darrell |

| Re: Very Novice Fisher Hi Minibarrow. The £26 licence is all you'll need unless you're seriously looking to catch salmon or sea trout. Short term licences are also avalible and may be more cost effective for you as we are nearly at the end of this years licence duration. Once you get your tackle I suggest you arrange a trip out with an experinced angler who help you with the basics and save on frustration ( leave that to the fish !) Good luck and hope you enjoy your new hobby. |
