X treme fishing

MINUS 7 and we thought it would be a good idea to break the ice on a local pond at north cave and do a bit of fishing......errr..not...took us an hour to get through the ice and as soon as we were fishing it was freezing over again ,ice was forming on the line sinking the float..........shame cause i havnt fished the venue before and it apparantly has some nice carp in to double figures,brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

that was the worst part not even a bite.........we left after 4 hours of trying............i was as warm as toast i had my diving thermal suit on under me fishing thermal suit lol

Well done to you both, you poor guys i thought all the snow and ice was gone. Just shows we think we have it hard sometimes due to bad weather, nice photo. Hope it clears for you soon
