My plans for 2010

Well, here we go, my plans for the new fishing year. I know I put a few ideas in a post called 2010, but I've been doing a little thinking on it all.

I would like a Crockerton 20, ideally on a bait of my own creation, I am slao going to refine my sloping lake bed rig, will post a pic/drawing soon.

I would like a big Avon, (Bristol) roach, also a Barbel, any size will do as it will be my first, (I tend to hook them whilst fishing for the glorious gudgeon).

A serious crack at a specimen gudgeon, I'm serious, here, also a specimen ruffe, again no joking, a friend [ut a near record sized one back without realizing.

To do better in the species hunt, in the top 30%.

Some bass caught flyfishing, prefeably on my own bass flies.

Garfish to, again on my own flies.

Another 3lb perch, also another 4lb+ eel.

To avoid bream except for one to get 1.5 points in the species hunt.

Not too have any more car breakdowns/comedy incidents in what ever set of wheels I wind up in this year.

Above all have fun and help others in the sport.

Sounds good to me fullcreel, i dont do coarse fishing pity though, i would love to have lakes with big coarse fish in it mate trust me, i would be doing it long ago, but ive watched enough of matt hayes to know what your plans are, may i wish you every success in your target

Its good to have targets gives you more to aim for and you proberly want to go fishing more.

I have a few plans for the new season.

most people have there targets I'm still searching for that 30lb pike and first catfish.

i caught some monster gugeon when i was a lad fishing the river frome at tellisford.

oh yes and after the one steve caught a specimen perch from crocks
