Sir Blanks-alot will become famous soon enough
Day out to the Wye?

Being bored at work at about 3am on my night shift i was browsing Martin Bowlers website, like you do, when i came across a link to the Wye and Usk Foundation website. Being bored i had a nose around and saw that you can book a session on numerous stretches of the Wye.

Ive never done any fishing on a river like this, fishing the Culm and thats it. Thought to myself it maybe a good idea to have an away day giving it a go for some big pike or chub. Trouble is i live down in Devon and while not a million miles away it is still a bit of a trek. Just wondered if anyone had any useful tips on the stretches to fish, tactics to use and time of year to go for the pike and chub etc so that i give myself a fighting chance of having a cracking day.

Cheers in advance.
