| Northern ireland i want to do some fishing over christmas holidays i would like to go for pike and trout, spinning and fly. any suggestions for a good spot. has the quoile recovered again? any good spots on the bann near bandbridge, moira, portadown?     |

| Re: Northern ireland The bann is closed season mate, open 1st march-20oct. All trout fisherys are listed in golden pages. At 16 i know been there money is tight, its even tight at my age. As i said yesterday i will help you if you listen, the gear/tackle is the easy bit. Great book for you peter o"reilly series 7, that will give you all the information you need. | Re: Northern ireland Phone the bann system on 02870344796 and ask to speak to joy she will tell you yes are no mate. The Bann system run the whole of the bann, everything goes through them first. |

Im sure you cant fish the bann for free though, phone head office fishery board on 02838334666 or no above. I dont do coarse fishing mate but i am giving you the 2 tel that will tell you anything you need to know. I am sure you would need a bann permit. Anyway thats my input. Hope this helps. |
