Hi fellas , just in the process of getting 2gether my new pike gear as thus far made do with old carp rodss , dodgy reels etc lol so i have now ordered 2 wychwood agitator 3lb tc pike rods and am matching them with okuma interceptor baitrunner reels , firstly has nebody any opinions on the rods and for general deadbaiting should i spool up with mono or braid as im confused with the responses ive had so far , cheers

if u use a wire trace wot do u want braid for its expensive and a good line will do the same job---ok

Its a fairly good combo
personally i would use mono ,
i only use braid for plugging

i use braid for both lure and deadbaits i prefer it cause when you are playing a fish you can feel every movement as it has no stretch apart from that i dont see anyother benefit so its personal preference
