| Spinning in the Winter? For some reason I have got it into my head that spinning in the winter monthes is not as productive in the summer, OK so not in flooded conditions, but as someone who has done very little predetor fishing, I would like to know what others think about winter spinning. Are the pike/perch/zeds less mobile due to colder water or just as likely to chase as in the summer? |

| Re: Spinning in the Winter? I am a big lover of perch, but am also wondering about pike, only caught a few. They feed up in the winter esp the females, do they go after fry, or fall back on their role as an ambush predator? |
