| Re: ray walton rolling and roving method As I understand it, you havea bait which is moving downstream at the same pace as th4e current, so the fish don't get much time to examine it too closely, so they make a snatch at it. I think you need some space on the bank to do this best, so you can move downstream at the pace of the current. I did see one episode on a TV show when he cut a stem of a reed, and had that a few inches from the hook, and it acted as a float/bite indicator. |
