| sometimes i wonder why i go carp fishing i got up just before 7 am and made me self a bacon butty after that me and me dad packed the car up. Got to the lake around 7 40 or so set up the bivvy and got me rods out close to the island in front of me and got into me bivvy for a lie down and i had a couple of bleeps but not a propper take so brought it on changed the bollie and casted back out to the island and about 11 o clock some fellors came to the oppsite side of the lake to me and he casted close to my lines but i didnt say anything to him to be polite and i casted mine out and he shouted over i am fishing there and i said i am fishing there and i have baited it up all day but the stupid thing is that he is casting over someone elses swim to get to the island in front of mine anyway i didnt move because i was in the right. anyway i had three fish of that island nothing huge a 10 4 oz common and 13 2 oz mirror and a common about 6 or 7 pound . i looked up to the fellor and smilled any way he had 1 fish but lost it so i was happy out of 6 carp anglers i know about only 3 caught and i cought the most so all in all it wasnt to bad but people think that i am going to be crap because of my age but am not and i love to show people i am not a bad carp angler and good for my age     |

| Re: sometimes i wonder why i go carp fishing Typical carp anglers, for some reason I always witness mild arguments when I visit such waters... I got a few strange looks when I tried fly fishing for carp during the summer, it seems 'bivvies', bait boats and boilies aren't just the only ways to catch carp. I'm 95% sure that if people left their beer fridges and inflatable chairs at home ,travelled lighter and covered more water, that they would catch more fish.  |

| Re: sometimes i wonder why i go carp fishing well done for getting the fish  , would never put my house up first ,would never put it up on a day session , you need to be mobile in winter even mor so than in winter |
