| Pole Floats Excuse my ignorance but i am confused with the all the figures on pole floats and what they mean?, what do all the numbers mean like 4x14 4x12??? and how do you shot one when i have no idea how many shot make 0.4 grams and so on???????...... ![]() |

| Re: Pole Floats The numbers are related to style weights, quite frequently mags like improve...have a scale so you can adapt them to standard shot sizes. I tend to shot pole floast with a bunch of no 8's, then no 10's. using a series of shot enables you to adapt the shotting patterns as your sessions progress's, i.e if the fish move up in the water, or to get the bait through smaller fish quickly. |
