| Night fishing Hi! I'm looking for a good night fishing spot for me and my mate, it does'nt matter where it is, just looking for a decent location, maybe purpose built, on a big river, not too popular and must allow bbq's! I hope i'm not being too ignorant! I did this once in australia and had the most unbelievable night, I doubt there is much that I have done that compares to the experience, as long as it does'nt rain all night! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys, Happy fishing. |

| Re: Night fishing Hi, My Cousin and I camped on the bank of the river Trent at Farndon a few years back and night fished for the Chub, We did not have permission from the landowner/farmer but this added to the buzz, We took the minimum of fishing tackle, a two man tent two tins of beans (eaten cold) tin of sweetcorn (bait) and a bog roll. Great nights fishing with Chub to 4LB and Bream to 4LB and some large Roach to near 2LB, The weather was still and humid and we had a great laugh. I'm not saying you should do this but I think you will struggle to find a campsite/venue where you can night fish and have a BBQ. Tight lines Robbie. |
