| Re: Any good books on fishing?.... Confessions of a Carp Fisher by "BB" Classic. Very atmospheric. Really takes you back to a different world when a 10lb carp was a fish of a lifetime. Also, Chris Yate's Casting at the Sun and the Secret Carp. Anything by Chris Yates basically! The book that accompanied A Passion for Angling is great too. Fantastic photos. Interesting to read too. |

| Re: Any good books on fishing?.... Rod and Line by Arthur Ransome is pretty good, Chris yates books are worth the effort. So many books are dull technical manuals, the Yate books are more about the philosophy of angling. |
