| salmon Just looking for some advice on what rods and reels I would need for catching salmon & trout in my local river. I currently have a 12ft shakespeare omni x feeder & a Fladen Vantage 130 but don't think this would do for fishing salmon & stuff. Any ideas For a good starter rod for this can't afford too much but willing to spend ?     |

| Re: salmon your current rod would be fine for catching salmon, i usually just simply use spinners for the salmon in my river, 12ft maybe alot to work with tho depending on brethe of your river __________________ Fishing for a lifetime, not a past-time. |
