Re: why a bivvi

a bivvi makes it easier and quicker to get out of when your bite alarm goes! plus you can fit your chair inside, i dont know if a carp chair would fit in a small dome tent. but it has a high celing so me and my mate can fit our chairs inside!
i use a 4man dome tent when i overnight it for the pike but it has a high celing so me and my mate can fit our chairs inside!

Re: why a bivvi

i bought a bivvy off ebay about a year back and it only cost me about £60inc P&P or there abouts, there was even a few good used ones, that would normally cost £100odd going for about £50-£60
there was a cheap one too, brand spanking £20 but you get what you pay for right? would maybee ideal for the summer mind.
check out ebay bpool, you might get a bargain on a good quality used bivvi or a cheap new one
happy hunting, let us know what you find
Ross

Re: why a bivvi

i think we have all fell over trying to get out of the bivvy, i have even tried to get out of the back of my bivvy it took me about 30 seconds to realise what i was doing, when that alarm rips off in the middle of the night your sences are all over the place. In fact i am going to open a new thread just asking about funny incidents that have happened when your alarms have gone off.

Graham.
