| Re: Help really struggling There are lots of different shotting patterns to suit different weather/wind conditions and different bait presentations but the following is one of the most commonly used shotting patterns in waters upto approx 8 or 9ft when using a float rod.

| Re: Help really struggling what I mean is,,once you are happy you have got your float at the right depth, measure the depth on the rod,,ie, put the hook in the bottom eye gently tighten up the line, if the float goes the the 5th eye, that is your depth, if you change your float or hook link, you know the depth with out plumbing up again, |
