Shimano Aero 5000 baitrunner spools ?

Hi , I've just taken delivery of a new Shimano aero 5000 baitrunner reel. Im pretty chuffed with it apart from 1 detail. The spool seems pretty cheap and plasticky. Is there anywhere I can get an alloy metal version from ?

I had a look on google but cant seem to find anything.

Cheers

Re: Shimano Aero 5000 baitrunner spools ?

Have you done a search on google or some other search engine?

there looks like there are a couple here

Also take your reel into a tackleshop and if they dont have spare spools for your model try a different models spare spool as the Shimano 4000 spools are the same as my Ariel 5010's just with a different models graphics printed on them so you might be lucky. remember 'try before you buy' so you will need to take your reel in with you.

Hi , I tried your link but had the same result as I had with google. Dead links and live links to the actual reels , not separate spare spools. I'll try my local tackle shop.

Cheers
