| amazing session on the leeds to liverpool canal been fishin this canal for months now with the same set up (size sixteen hook to nylon a small float size 44 which takes five no 4 weights and six pound red.i main line)with an ocassional catch here and there but my persistence paid off tonight with a 1lb perch,4 roach and a 4lb eel which took 10 mins to land as i forgot my landing net i had to roll my sleeve down and hope it didnt slip out my hand what a night if any body wants to fish this section its in foulridge next to the tunnel my suggestion is go at dusk as this seemed to make a big difference.     |
