| Re: Local lakes (wiltshire ish area) Yeah sounds like its penleigh lake. Every time i go passed on the train it has loads of people fishing it worth a go if i can get a day ticket. Anyone heard of a lake could miners lake in frome runs a closed season. Heard a good report about it but cant find any info on it. |

Go thro frome heading towards vobster at the vobster crossroads turn right follow the road till you see the fishery sign (opposite the newbury turn) Turn right again follow the track to the carpark and lake. Postcode is BA11 3RH. Its £6 a day dawn to dusk. Only a 1 1/2 acre lake carp to 20lb bream and tench to 5lb perch to 3lb also roach and crucian carp. Will be there from 7am till 10pm. |
