When i used to fish it, it had alot of 20lb+ carp in it and 8LB+ tench and alot of big bream in it

if there is a chance of netting it i know a couple of small farm ponds with nothing in where fish could be held until a more perminant home is found

I know who has the lake trying to find a contact number, the guys name is Painter he owns one of the other lakes in that area.

am I right in saying that they can't just fill it in with the fish in there and that the environment / fisheries agencies would intervene?

he can do what he wants, the problem is that no one cares, the guy Painter bought the land and now has sold it on to a devolper, who is awaiting planning permission to build on the land. I am tempted to contact the enviroment agency to ask for advice

After a great zander meet yesterday decided to give crockerton ago for some points.
My brother was allready there and has had two carp to 10.1/2lb and lost a big one in the night. Hes in peg 7 and ive gone into peg 5.
Got here at just after 7am.

I had a sly fish there today and It needs some tlc but I think it would be criminal to fill it in. I might keep an eye out and see if and when a planning notice goes in.

Deffinatley worth contacting the environment agency. We need to find some newts there then no one would be aloud to touch it!
