Fishing im Summerset! Help

elo! new to the forum, Just starting fishing again! fished capstone park today in kent! loads of roach, good fun on the float! me & my dad are taking a road trip down to Summerset for a week's fish! bit of bonding! we plan on fishing Rivers not lakes, barble ect! Apparently the Avon goes through summerset, so we will hit that up, but some hotspots of rivers ect would be great! postcodes ect so I can pt them in the satnav! thanks!!!

hello mate welcome to the forum , dont forget the rivers cant be fished until 16th june,close season and all that

Where abouts will you be going in sommerset?

Theres quite afew rivers runing thro sommerset.

not sure yet mate! Show me some rivers, we are going for a week, so will be traveling around, know some hot spots?

North somerset, you have the Frome, which flows in to the Bristol Avon. The Avon in Wilts is pretty good.
You alos have the Brue, flowing through Glastonbury I think the Parrot is there too, or that might just be in North Devo.
Check out the book 'where to fish'
Also type day ticket rivers fishing somerset', or similar search words into google.

You have the axe,barle,huntspill, south drain, cripps, north drain, brue, kings sedgemoor drain,langacre rhine. The bristol avon. Box brook. River frome. River sheppey. Cam and wellow brooks. The chew,isle,kenn blind yeo,parrett,tone. All are run by clubs with day tickets avalable.

Thats just rivers with coarse fish in thats why i asked what part you was going to then i could narrow it down.
You also have the bridgewater and taunton canal the kennet and avon canal. Loads of coarse lakes and game rivers and lakes.
