going night fishing in the lake district

hi, my first post , im 17 and me and 3 of my mates are planning on going up to the lake district one saturday soon. Were planning on setting off about 12 so we will get there about half 1. Were going to try and find a spot at windermere first and then if we have no luck there were going to try ulswater. So hope fully we will be set up before it starts going dark.

were going to stay overnight so any advice on where to go in the lake district will be great?

Also the spot were i have been a few times at ulswater is sometimes un-accesible due to the water level, so if anyone has been to ulswater recently any advice is welcome.

there are 4 of us all together and we are going up in my renault clio so not loads of room. Were planning on taking,

2 2 man tents,
4 big brollys,
4 camping chairs,
4 rods
4 sets of gear,
2 tilley lamps,
1 cookers,
loads and loads off clothes ,
4 sets of waterproofs,
plenty food and drink,
4 rod licences,
money,
petrol.

sooooo.... i would like any advice on

no sorry, i am new to fishing in the lakes. we just want a spot somewhere in the lakes where we can fish overnight and not be bothered

to be honest, we are just going for a good day/night out and will fish for anything

Have you packed glowing float tips if your fishing float?
