| Re: going night fishing in the lake district I am not sure if you can night fish these lakes, you need to check, I have seen people fishing the bank opposit BOWNESS You would need to drive up from Lakeside past Graythwaite hall and turn right, there quite a few good looking spots at Ulswater along side the A592 there also some good spots on the other side go to poolley bridge and go down the un classified road road as far as Sandwick you will need permits for most of these fishing spots and quite a lot of it is private fishing, ring a local tackle shop for details,, let us know how you get on. go to, www.lakedistrictfishing.net some very good info on there, although windermere is a free fisherie you quite often have to pay for the land access, NO camping or night fishing on windermere unless you have ADVANCED permision from the land owner,,etc etc |
