| Re: any1 recommend a good rod to buy DONT LAUGH,,,I was on a very tight budget when I needed a powerfull float rod, so I Bought a LEEDA CARP WAGGLER, rated to 6lb reel line, on my first trip with it I had a er,,, senior moment,,, the only reel in my box was a pin with 8lb line on it,, the rod worked quite well and I cought a good few carp up to 5lb, the best bit,, I only paid £23.95 for it (list £34.95) I have since used the rod with 4lb line, on one of them there new fangled fixed spool thingies it cast realy well and played the fish far better than the price suggest's |
